Submarine Sunday #89

Posted by Navy Wifey Peters | Saturday, June 21, 2014 Categories:
Welcome to Submarine Sunday! I hope you all are having a great weekend. I spent the last couple days listing some of my daughters baby/toddler clothes and shoes on Ebay. I listed 26 items, and it seems like it took FOREVER! I'm giving the rest of her old clothes to Goodwill, a friend, and my sister-in-law. Several months ago, I gave away a ton of her clothes to Goodwill, so I've realized that I have bought that little girl way too many clothes, but I can't help it... I'm a little bit of a shopaholic. I bought my daughter so many clothes that she didn't even get to wear some of them because she grew so fast! So I'm going to try to be better about clothes shopping for my baby boy. Other than that, I did add a row of granny squares to my hubby's blanket, but it still needs about two more rows. Anyhoo, it's party time! What have you been working on? Link it up!

WHAT I'VE BEEN WORKING ON:

I am still working on my husband's blanket. I hope to have it finished by next weekend.

      6. Hi T'onna, good luck with your ebaying. I've done that, put loads up at once, you need to be really careful when they all finish at the same time - make sure you do one at a time. I'm always paranoid I will send the wrong thing to the wrong person - got myself in a right mess once, had to undo a load of parcels just to check!
        Thanks for he party!

      8. What a cute afghan. We just inherited one from my hubby's aunt and uncle. I think it is awesome for all the love and hard work to be passed down generation to generation. I still have the one my grandmother made me on my 13th birthday. Thanks for hosting.

        1. Thanks! My mom still has an afghan that I made for her several years ago, and it's in good condition, but my husband KILLED an afghan I made for him a few years ago. He took it out to sea on the submarine, and it smelled like weird submarine chemicals, and he put a huge hole in it. It was terrible... I hope he takes better care of this one. lol
