Submarine Sunday#73

Posted by Navy Wifey Peters | Saturday, March 01, 2014 Categories:
Welcome to Submarine Sunday! Thank you for partying with me each week! Remember the baby blanket that I kept saying I was going to get started on? Well, I actually started on it yesterday, and I'm almost done. I decided to used pink, gray, and white yarn. I think it looks good so far. I also made a miscarriage awareness bracelet to honor my angel babies. I hope to have the baby blanket for my friend finished tomorrow. Her baby shower is next Saturday. She mentioned that she wants me to make her a homecoming outfit for her baby. So after I'm done with the blanket, I'll look for a pattern for a newborn outfit. Anyhoo, it's time to party! Please link up your latest creations and check out some of the other links as well!

    1. Thank you! I found inspiration for the blanket on Pinterest! I was lost for a moment. I knew I wanted to use pink, gray, and white, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to make granny squares or chevrons. I started making a chevron blanket, but I didn't like it, but I'm really happy with the blanket so far.

And I saw many miscarriage bracelets online and was inspired to make my own. I want to find a charm with baby feet to add to it.

    1. It's for a baby, so I'll probably make it 30 x 30 or 32 x 32.
